Fiscal Note
Funding of $103,762 in salary, plus benefits, is included in the 2007 Economic and Community Development Adopted Operating Budget. The contract provides for a salary of $95,000, so there is sufficient funding included in the budget. Sufficient funding amounts for 2008 are included in the 2008 Executive Operating Budget.

Submitting the name of William R. Clingan for confirmation of a five-year term as Economic and Community Development Unit Director.
Body
Whereas, Mayor Cieslewicz has appointed William R. Clingan to the position of Economic and Community Development Unit Director and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
Whereas, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Clingan;
Now, therefore, be it resolved that Mr. Clingan's appointment to the position of Economic and Community Development Unit Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Clingan.
