Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution amends the 2020 Operating Budget by transferring the Neighborhood Resource Team (NRT) program from the Mayor’s Office to the Department of Civil Rights. The 2020 Adopted Budget includes $147,000 for the NRT program. The budget is comprised of 1 (1.0 FTE) position and program costs to support the work of NRTS. The amount identified in this resolution is for personnel costs of the position for the remainder of 2020 and the full amount of the non-personnel program costs. To date in 2020, no non-personnel costs have been incurred for the NRT program. In 2021, the NRT program will be presented as a component of an Equity service in the Department of Civil Rights.
There is no fiscal impact of the proposed reclassification.

Amending the 2020 Adopted Operating Budget to transfer $57,500 from the Mayor’s Office to the Department of Civil Rights to reflect recreating position #4391, Neighborhood Resource Coordinator (CG 18, R10) into the Equity Coordinator classification in the same CG and Range and reallocate incumbent T. Saqqaf to the new position.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that position #4391 of Neighborhood Resource Coordinator (CG18, R10) is recreated as an Equity Coordinator in CG 18, R 10 and reallocate the incumbent to the new position (T. Saqqaf), thereof.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the 2020 Adopted Operating Budget is amended to transfer $57,500 from the Mayor’s Office to the Department of Civil Rights. The transferred appropriation by major category of spending is as follows:
Salaries: $22,500
Benefits: $7,500
Purchased Services: $27,500
