DRAFTER’S ANALYSIS: The proposed ordinance amends the Master Plan for the portion of the “Village at Autumn Lake” subdivision zoned TR-P to allow 24 two-family twin home units to be constructed in 12 buildings on Lot 649 of the Village at Autumn Lake Replat subdivision. The lot had been approved in 2015 for development of up to 24 townhouse units,

WHEREAS on May 19, 2015, the Common Council adopted ORD-15-00053 (ID 37285) creating Section 28.022 - 00158 of the Madison General Ordinances to zone approximately 215 acres to the TR-P (Traditional Residential - Planned) District as part of the approval of the replat of the “Village at Autumn Lake” subdivision to allow 773 single-family detached, two-unit, four-unit, townhouse, and multi-family dwelling units to be developed; and
WHEREAS the applicant has submitted an amended TR-P master plan and the final plat of Village of Autumn Lake Replat No. 3 that proposes to develop 24 two-family twin home units in 12 buildings on Lot 649 of the final plat of Village at Autumn Lake Replat in lieu of the 22 townhouse units previously approved with the 2015 master plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby amend Map Amendment 00158 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances to include a revised master plan for the approved Village at Autumn Lake TR-P district to allow 24 two-family twin home units to be constructed in 12 buildings on said Lot 649.
