PREAMBLE

The City of Madison is proposing to under ground the overhead utility lines on W. Gilman Street from University Avenue to N. Henry Street.  MG&E and Charter Communications will underground their overhead lines and the existing poles will be removed. The City of Madison will fund the cost to under ground the facilities.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute agreements with MG&E and Charter Communications for the undergrounding of overhead utilities on W. Gilman Street.
