Title

Amending the 2025 Adopted Engineering-Bicycle & Pedestrian Capital Budget and awarding Public Works Contract 8739, Tancho Dr Bike Path & Northeast Pond Repair. (District 17)

Body

WHEREAS, The City of Madison advertised and received bids for the Public Works Contract 8739 Tancho Dr Bike Path & Northeast Pond Repair.  The City Engineer is proposing to utilize funds from the recently completed Autumn Ridge Path project account to cover costs of the path. 

 

NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidder contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting; and, 

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the 2025 Engineering - Bicycle & Pedestrian Adopted Capital Budget be amended to transfer $150,000 of existing GFGO budget authority from the Autumn Ridge Path project (MUNIS 11859) to the Tancho Dr Bike Path project (MUNIS 14761; and,

 

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the costs of the projects contained herein.
