No additional funds are required for approval of this report.  Funds required for compliance with the City's WPDES discharge permit are authorized in the annual budget process.

Title

Approving the annual stormwater WPDES annual report to the WDNR.  Review and approval of this report is required as a condition of the City of Madison's discharge permit from the WDNR/EPA as authorized under NR-216.

Body

WHEREAS, The City of Madison has, for the past ten years, obtained and maintained a stormwater discharge permit form the WDNR/EPA; and

WHEREAS, and the City is required as a condition of that permit to provide an annual report to the WDNR; and

WHEREAS, The WDNR has requested that the annual report be approved by the municipal authority (the Board of Public Works and Common Council); and

WHEREAS, The City Engineer has reviewed the report and believes it represents a correct representation of the work completed on stormwater management by the City in the past year;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council approve the annual WDNR/EPA stormwater report.
