Fiscal Note

As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Charles J. Romines, the Streets Superintendent's initial year's salary will be based on a total annualized rate of $125,000 effective February 11th, 2018. The Streets Division's adopted 2018 operating budget includes sufficient funding for the cost of the position. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor's discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed  Charles J. Romines to the position of Streets Superintendent and has recommended to the Common Council that  his appointment be confirmed; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Romines

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Romines appointment to the position of Streets Superintendent is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Romines.
