Fiscal Note

The wage and benefit provisions of this agreement are $38,000 greater than the amounts originally budgeted for 2004 and 2005, but sufficient expenses were accrued at the end of 2005 to recognize this settlement amount.  Consequently, there is no additional impact on the 2006 Operating Budget, tax levy or State Expenditure Restraint Program eligibility.

Be it hereby resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute a Labor Agreement between the City of Madison and the Association of Madison Fire Supervisors (AMFS) for the period January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2005.
