Fiscal Note

Funding for the position of Clerk-Treasurer is included in the 2006 Adopted Operating Budget.  This position will be deleted and recreated as a City Clerk position by the adoption of Ordinance #03524 and Resolution #03495.  No appropriation is required.  There is no impact upon cost controls.

Title

Submitting the name of Diane Hermann-Brown for confirmation of a five-year term as City Clerk.

Body

Whereas, Mayor Cieslewicz has appointed Diane Hermann-Brown to the position of City clerk and has recommended to the Common Council that her appointment be confirmed; and

Whereas, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Hermann-Brown;

Now, therefore, be it resolved that Ms. Hermann-Brown's appointment to the position of City Clerk is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Hermann-Brown.
