Fiscal Note
Costs for the remainder of 2014 are estimated at $10,904, or $14,720 including benefits. These expenses will be accommodated by the management of salary savings. Costs for January 1, 2015 through May 26, 2015 are projected at $26,372, or $35,603 including benefits. Funding for 2015 will be included in the 2015 Executive Operating Budget, as appropriate.

Resolution authorizing a double-fill of the position of Accountant 4 due to the retirement of Patricia Skaleski.
Body
WHEREAS, Ms. Patricia Skaleski, Accountant 4, is retiring from City of Madison employment; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Skaleski's last day of work will be February 3, 2015, followed by 16 weeks of paid leave time prior to her retirement on May 26, 2015, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Department has requested the authorization to double-fill the position held by Ms. Skaleski in order to ensure a smooth transition as this position is critical to the successful implementation of MUNIS, and
WHEREAS, the double-fill in will exceed thirty (30) days;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Finance Department is authorized to double-fill the position of Accountant 4 from November 1, 2014 through May 26, 2015.
