Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution authorizes the creation of a Program Assistant 1 position in the Library which will replace a current hourly position (Event Coordinator, position 4618). The cost of creating the position for the remainder of 2017 is approximately $21,200 including benefits and net of savings in hourly wages. The additional costs in 2017 associated with the permanent position will be funded by managing salary savings. The projected annualized cost of the position is $58,800 including benefits.
