Consider a Report of the City Engineer regarding the results of a review of water resources impacts and the necessity of permits for public works construction projects on this agenda.

 

The City Engineer has reviewed the agenda and reports the following with regards to water resources impacts and need for permitting:

 

Items #4, #5, #6, #7 - All of these items, as they reach project stage, shall require from the City and / or WDNR for land disturbance and erosion control.

 

Item #21 - When this project goes to the construction stage, WDNR and USACOE permits shall be required.  This stage of the project, the consultant design stage, shall identify the full extent of the required permits as well as review water resources implications of the design, with the stakeholders including the general public.  At a minimum, a WDNR Chapter 31 permit shall be required.

 

Item #25 - Construction of this item requires a WDNR Ch 30 permit and accompanying permit from the USACOE.  These permits have been obtained and the project can commence subject to following the terms and conditions of those permits issued.
