Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution amends the 2020 Adopted Capital Budget for Engineering-Major Streets and Engineering - Bicycle and Pedestrian by authorizing a net-neutral transfer of $67,000 of existing budget authority. Under the proposed resolution, $67,000 of GO borrowing authority will be transferred from the West Towne Path - Phase 2 (Munis 10763) project to the Gammon Road, South (Munis 11130), and West Towne Path - Phase 1 (Munis 10168) projects. The proposed resolution also modifies the contract with Ayres Associates Inc., approved under RES-16-00379, for additional design services for these projects. Funding is available in the West Towne Path - Phase 2 project for this transfer.

The City of Madison in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has approved a project to reconstruct S. Gammon Road from Seybold Road to Mineral Point Road and to construct the West Towne Path from Grand Canyon Drive to S. Junction Road. The City of Madison is the lead agency for the project and has entered into a design engineering contract with Ayres Associates, Inc., (Original: RES-16-00379).
