Fiscal Note
As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Christine Knapp, the Water Utility General Manager salary will be based on an annualized rate of $165,000. Funding for this position is available in Water Utility's 2026 Adopted Operating Budget.

Submitting the appointment of Christine Knapp for confirmation of a five-year term as Water Utility General Manager.
Body
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Christine Knapp to the position of Water Utility General Manager and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and,
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Christine Knapp;
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Christine Knapp’s appointment to the position of Water Utility General Manager is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s Office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Christine Knapp.
