Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2016 capital budget Engineering - Facilities Management has budgeted $4.8 million for the major MMB renovation project (MUNIS 10550). The minor project for the cost components of the MMB renovation is established with sufficient budget authority in 2016 for the work pertaining to hazardous material removal in this proposed resolution (MUNIS 10129). Funding is provided by GO borrowing.
The proposed resolution approves plan documents for the hazardous material removal at an estimated cost of $270,000.

Approving plans and specifications and authorizing the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for Madison Municipal Building - Hazardous Material Removal.
Body
BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Madison Municipal Building - Hazardous Material Removal, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
