Preamble
The City of Madison received a Solar America Initiative grant from the US Department of Energy. This grant's total revenue is $220,000 of DOE and Focus on Energy funding, with matching funds coming from the City of Madison, Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation (Focus on Energy), MGE, and program users. The grant is for two years.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Engineering Budget be amended to show an increase in grant revenue of $110,000 for 2008 and corresponding expenses of $110,000 to be broken down as follows:
Consulting Services: $42,000
City of Madison Staff Time: $36,000
Focus on Energy Staff Time: $22,000
Printing/ Marketing $ 5,000
Training $ 4,000
Misc. Expenses $ 1,000
