Title

Dissolving the Preferences and Screening Subcommittee.

Body

Background - Common Council Resolution # 29184 in March of 2001 created a CDA Subcommittee to review policies and procedures for the screening and preferences given to CDA Housing applicants. The Subcommittee met numerous times and held several public hearings, taking input and suggestions from the community. A final report with recommendations was issued in June of 2002. They were adopted and enacted by the CDA. The Preferences and Screening Subcommittee has met periodically to monitor the results and forward new recommendations based on analysis of program implementation. The Subcommittee now feels its work has been accomplished and has voted to terminate, pending final approval of the CDA Board and the Common Council.

WHEREAS, the Screening and Preferences Subcommittee of the CDA feels it has accomplished its mission.

WHEREAS, the Screening and Preferences Subcommittee has unanimously recommended that the Committee be terminated.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby approves the termination of the Preferences and Screening Subcommittee.
