The proposed resolution approves licenses for Commercial Quadricycle operations. Resolution 64268 enacted March 22, 2021 waived license and permit fees for Public Passenger Services through December 31, 2021 due to COVID-19 and other economic hardships. Fees for the license in the proposed resolution would have totaled $500.

WHEREAS, the Capitol Pedaler’s has applied for a Commercial Quadricycle Licensure, effective upon resolutions final approval:
WHEREAS, Trolley Pub, requesting 3 Commercial Quadricycle vehicle permits
WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineer recommends approval of this application:
WHEREAS, Trolley Pub, in response to neighborhood complaints, have relocated their vehicle storage and staging location from 316 W. Washington (exit on Mifflin) to a new structure at its previous location at Buckingham’s Bar and Grill (802 Regent St.);
WHEREAS, the City risk manager has approved the Trolley Pub’s Certificate of Liability Insurance;
WHEREAS, the Common Council recommends that the following actions be taken with respect to the above application for license:
Approval of the application for license to operate a Commercial Quadricycle company license and for 3 Commercial Quadricycle vehicle permits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following licenses are issued, subject to the provisions and conditions as stated above and the ordinances of the City of Madison:
