Title
Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute Addendum Number 1 to the Contract for Professional Services with MSA Professional Services to study the floodplain on the Upper Yahara River at STH 113 (Legislative File No. 16068).
Body
WHEREAS, The City of Madison has previously entered into a contract for Professional Services with MSA Professional Services to review/study the condition of the bridges across the Upper Yahara River; and
WHEREAS, MSA has completed this work and the results indicate that a lowering of the regulatory floodplain North of STH 113; and
WHEREAS, to take advantage of the is opportunity to reduce the floodplain (positively impacting approximately 26 residents) will require some additional work and submittals to the WDNR and FEMA; and
WHEREAS, MSA as result of this work is most qualified to complete this work; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk area authorized to execute addendum #1 to the existing agreement with MSA Professional Services to provide additional consulting services, as further detailed in the scope of services, for continuing work on the Upper Yahara River Floodplain Study.
