PREAMBLE
The project consists of repairing concrete pavement in various locations throughout the City of Madison as needed during the 2007 construction season. The project consists of removing deteriorated joints in concrete pavements by saw cutting out concrete sections typically four feet wide by the width of the concrete section and replacing it with new concrete pavement that is tied to the existing pavement with steel dowels and tie bars. The repairs will be done to minimize the impact on traffic.
BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Concrete Pavement Rehab - 2007, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
