Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution authorizes the creation of a Forensic Video Analyst position and deletes a Forensic Lab Technician position in the Police Department. The new position will be filled through an internal competitive process. The annualized net cost of the classification change is $13,700 (including benefits). The impact on the 2018 budget is approximately $12,200. Costs associated with the reclassification will be absorbed within the agency’s 2018 budget.
