Body

The Friends of Goodman Waves ‘Friends’ represent the families of the Goodman Waves Swim and Dive Team. The Friends have partnered with the City of Madison Parks Division “Parks Division” since 2013 and has operated under a Fee Modification since 2018 season. The Friends provide valuable volunteer service to support the team and facilitate home swim and dive meets. The Friends, in coordination with the Parks Division coaches and lifeguards, runs well-organized home meets and ensures that participants are supported. Madison Parks operates the Goodman Pool and team. The partnership has been mutually beneficial and the Parties would like to continue with the goal of Friends taking full responsibility of the Goodman Waves Swim and Dive team in future seasons.
