Body
Public Health Madison and Dane County (Public Health) proposes the acceptance of an additional $706,224 from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) for the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program.
The Board of Health for Madison and Dane County previously approved resolution #RES-24-00364, authorizing the acceptance of $1,276,360 from DHS for the WIC Grant. PHMDC received an additional $706,224 from DHS, increasing the total additional amount to $1,982,584.

The additional $188,144 will be spent on WIC program supplies and purchased services.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County on behalf of Public Health Madison and Dane County authorizes the Director of Public Health, or their designee, to sign the agreement, accept and expend the funding, and amend the 2024 Public Health Budget by $706,224.
