Routine maintenance will be required and will be incorporated with the maintenance of other City owned works of art. No additional expenditure required.

Accepting ownership of the Capitol Square Fountains located at Pinckney Street and East Washington Avenue.
Body
Whereas the Madison Arts Commission's mission is to make the arts and essential part of the lives of all of Madison's citizens; and
Whereas the Common Council adopted Resolution No. _________, ID Number 37334, authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute an amended agreement for design, fabrication, and inspection of installation between the City of Madison and Flow Forms America, Inc for creating site specific public art features that replace the four round brick fountains on the Capitol Square and the round brick planters at Wisconsin Avenue and Mifflin Street; and
Whereas one of the conditions of the contract requires that upon completion of each work (Wisconsin Avenue Planters, East Washington Fountains, West Washington Fountains) and other documentation being submitted by the artist, that the City of Madison will accept ownership of each work; and
Whereas the Wisconsin Avenue Planters have been completed and the required documentation has been filed with the City; and
Now Therefore be it resolved that the City of Madison hereby accepts ownership of the Capitol Square Planters located at Pickney and East Washington Streets.
