Body

Resolution RES-07-00619 authorized the City to enter into an agreement with Vierbicher Associates, Inc. for the purchase of professional design services for the Lower Badger Mill Creek Lift Station. Preliminary design work revealed an alternate to the original City proposal that would produce a better plan for sewer service, while reducing long term costs by eliminating an existing sewerage lift station. To persue the alternate, additional design services are required for surveying, gravity sewer design, and abandonment of the existing lift station.

Now, therefore be it resolved the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an Amendment #1 to the contract between the City of Madison and Vierbicher Associates, Inc., for additional engineering design services for the Lower Badger Mill Creek Lift Station and Forcemain.
