Title

Honoring Ray Fisher for 28 years of service to the City of Madison.

Body

WHEREAS, Ray Fisher, Director of Revenue has been employed by the City of Madison for the past 28 years; and

WHEREAS, during his career with the City he has honorably and diligently served the citizens of the City of Madison; and

WHEREAS, Ray Fisher retired on February 3, 2006; and

WHEREAS, the departure of this professional public servant, citizen and neighbor is a loss felt by all his fellow employees who wish him a long, hearty and productive retirement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the Common Council of the City of Madison and on behalf of its citizens do hereby commend, honor and express thanks and appreciation to Ray Fisher for his dedicated service; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution become part of the permanent official proceedings of the Common Council of the City of Madison; and

BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Ray Fisher, as an expression of gratitude for his service to the City of Madison.
