Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution adopts the Labor Agreement between the City of Madison and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists, and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories and Canada (IATSE). Modifications are included in the General Municipal Employee handbook via Legistar File # 90489 and those with a financial impact include:
• Increase the hourly minimum from three hours to four hours. Anticipated cost of $3,000.
• Increase health insurance contribution to 13%. Anticipated cost of $10,000.
Most IATSE costs are within Monona Terrace and would be absorbed in Monona Terrace’s 2026 adopted budget. No additional appropriation required.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Labor Agreement between the City of Madison and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists, and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories and Canada (IATSE) for the period January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, is hereby adopted in its entirety and confirmed in all respects and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign the agreement.
