Fiscal Note
This resolution provides $22,000 of additional budget authority to the Transfer Station Redesign/Reconstruction capital project (810409). Funding for this authority will be derived from a transfer from the Insurance Fund.
Title
Amending the 2007 Streets Capital Budget for coverage from the insurance fund for fire damage to the Olin Avenue Transfer Station.
Body
WHEREAS, on June 12, 2006, a fire occurred at the Streets Division Olin Avenue Transfer Station, and
WHEREAS, the City of Madison's Risk Manager has filed an insurance claim and received recovery for the damage, and
WHEREAS, the Streets Division has made the necessary repairs to the areas damaged by the fire.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Streets Division 2007 Capital Budget be amended by $22,000 to allow for the expenditures to be funded by a transfer from the insurance fund, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the account CB63-58401-810409 be increased by $22,000 for the building repair, and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED THAT $22,000 be transferred from the insurance fund to CB63-79475-810409.
