No expenditure necessary. This agreement will facilitate the timely receipt of funds needed to construct the Goodman Pool.
Title
Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with Madison Parks Foundation, Inc., for the transfer of funds for the design and construction of the Goodman Pool.
Body
WHEREAS, the Madison Parks Foundation, Inc., has received and will continue to receive funds dedicated for the design and construction of the Goodman Pool; and
WHEREAS, the City of Madison will itself enter into contracts and pay for the costs of the design and construction of the Goodman Pool; and
WHEREAS, the Foundation and the City need to have an agreement governing the transfer of funds received by the Foundation to the City for the purposes of the design and construction of the Goodman Pool.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized to enter into an agreement with the Foundation which will provide for the transfer of any pledges or other funds received for the design and construction of the Goodman Pool from the Foundation to the City of Madison in a form to be approved by the City Attorney.
