PREAMBLE

This project consists of installation of various traffic calming and pedestrian enhancements city wide.  Each specific location undergoes evaluation and separate approval processes.  Upon approval this public works contract provides a means to construct the approved devices.

BE IT RESOLVED,

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Local Road Traffic Calming & Arterial Pedestrian Enhancements-2005, be and are hereby approved.

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for the required public works contract.
