Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes an amendment to the existing contract (#9154) for engineering services for the total amount of $21,265.00. The new contract as amended will total $207,256.00.
Funding for the flood reduction analysis consulting services in the amount of $21,265.00 is provided in the 2022 Adopted Stormwater Utility Operating Budget. No additional appropriation is required. The project number is 13321-84-200-84000.

Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute an Amendment No. 1 to the existing Purchase of Services contract between the City of Madison and Brown and Caldwell for engineering services for the Door Creek Watershed Study. (3rd and 16th ADs)
Body
The City of Madison Engineering Division is conducting watershed and flood studies as a result of extreme rain events over the past several years. The City entered into an agreement with Brown and Caldwell for engineering services related to flooding evaluation in the Door Creek watershed (RES-22-00336). The City Engineer requested additional engineering services and recommend that they be undertaken by Brown and Caldwell for the Door Creek Watershed Study as defined below:
1. Update the model and existing scope for the Door Creek Watershed Study to include a complete XPSWMM2D model for additional study area within adjacent municipalities.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Amendment 1 to the contract between the City of Madison and Brown and Caldwell for additional engineering services for the Door Creek Watershed Study.
