Title
Amending the 2011 Adopted Capital Budgets of Facilities Management and Traffic Engineering to Reallocate Funds for the Sayle Street Repaving Project and Awarding Public Works Contract No. 6639, Repaving Sayle Street Facility - 2011.
Body
WHEREAS, the 2011 adopted capital budgets of Traffic Engineering (Project No. 6, “Repaving Sayle St. Facility”) and Facilities Management (Project No. 29, “Parking Utility Shop Building/Grounds”) provide a total of $130,000 for the re-paving of the Sayle Street Facility; and
WHEREAS, based on bids received the funding is sufficient except for an 8% retainage/contingency expense, amounting to approximately $10,400; and
WHEREAS, in order to cover the potential additional expense, a budget amended is required to transfer funding authority in the amount of $10,357 from the Sayle Street Windows Replacement Project (Facilities Management Project No. 21, “Windows/HVAC Sayle Facility”) to the Repaving Sayle Street Facility project (Traffic Engineering Capital Budget project No. 6, “Repaving Sayle Street Facility.
