Fiscal Note
The Parking Utility anticipates that there will be little net impact on its overall parking revenues, as lost permit revenues will be recovered from the meter revenues.
Title
Amending Section 12.1385(54) and creating Section 12.1517(12) of the Madison General Ordinances to remove a portion of Broom Street from the Residential Daytime Parking Permit program and establish it as a Combination Two Hour And 25 Minute Parking Meter Zone.
Body
DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This amendment removes a portion from the Residential Daytime Parking Permit Program in order to reflect the necessary changes to implement metered on-street parking. This is to accommodate the need for short term parking in an area that is becoming a mixed-use commercial and residential area.
