Fiscal Note

Sufficient funds are available in the adopted 2006 Operating Budget to fund the 2.625% current year compensation cost increase associated with this ordinance change.  An additional 3.0% wage increase which becomes effective in 2007 will be incorporated into future year budgets.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance adopts and confirms an Exhibit N which provides salary increases to various Compensation Groups 17, 43 and Nonrepresented Hourly employees.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

      All of Exhibit N amending Sections 3.38(1)(f), (o), and (2) is hereby adopted in its entirety and confirmed in all respects.

      Said Exhibit N is published in pamphlet form by direction of the Common Council of the City of Madison, in accordance with Section 66.0103, Wisconsin Statutes.
