PREAMBLE
The City of Monona, Dane County and City of Madison have proposed a joint project to reconstruct Monona Drive (CTH "BB") from Pflaum Road to Winnequah Road. The existing pavement is in poor condition and in need of reconstruction. Portions of Monona Drive are in the City of Madison and other portions City of Monona. The construction cost of the highway improvement will be financed with 50 percent Federal/State funds and 50 percent local funds, and design costs will be financed with 100% local funds.
The City of Monona is the lead municipality and will coordinate the public relations, design and construction of the street with the City of Madison.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the City of Monona for cost sharing for the design of Monona Drive reconstruction from Pflaum Road to Winnequah Road.
