Fiscal Note

The Superintendent's initial salary under this new contract will be $122,099.12, an amount slightly in excess of the $121,047 included in the 2013 Adopted Parks Operating Budget.  Funding for any difference between current year budgeted and actual salaries will be accommodated by the management of salary savings.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Kevin Briski to the position of Parks Superintendent and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Briski.

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Briski's appointment to the position of Parks Superintendent is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk's office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Briski.
