DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance reduces the number of Plan Commission members serving on the Long-Range Transportation Planning Committee from 3 to 2 and instead provides for the appointment of a member of the Dane County RTA Board who resides in Madison.
*********************************************************************************** The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Subdivision (b) entitled “Composition” of Subsection (7) entitled “Long-Range Transportation Planning Committee” of Section 3.14 entitled “Department of Transportation” of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows:
“(b) Composition. The Long-Range Transportation Planning Committee shall consist of eleven (11) voting members to serve without compensation consisting of two (2) members of the Pedestrian/Bicycle/Motor Vehicle Commission, two (2) members of the Transit and Parking Commission, one (1) member of the Board of Public Works, threetwo (32) members of the Plan Commission, one (1) member of the Dane County Board of Supe...
