Approving two Certified Survey Maps of property owned by Homburg Farms, LLC located on both sides of Vilas Hope Road at Jahnke Road in the Town of Cottage Grove in the City's extraterritorial plat approval jurisdiction, including the dedication to the City of two lots for a future bike path.
Body
WHEREAS Resolution 08-00939 authorized the execution of a Dedication and Purchase Agreement between the City and Homburg Farms, LLC,
WHEREAS said agreement was executed in November 2008, which required Homburg Farms, LLC to create two parcels by Certified Survey Map to be dedicated to the City for the planned extension of the Glacial Drumlin State Trail through these properties by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that two Certified Survey Maps of property owned by Homburg Farms, LLC on Vilas Hope Road at Jahnke Road, Town of Cottage Grove, Dane County, Wisconsin, which have been duly filed for approval of the Madison Common Council, be and the same is hereby approved as required by Chapter 236, Wisconsin Statutes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Madison are hereby authorized to sign the certified surveys, subsequent affidavits of corrections, parkland acquisition documents, easement or right-of-way release or procurement documents or any other related document or documents as deemed necessary by the Secretary of the Plan Commission in accordance with the approved Certified Survey Map.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all dedications included in this Certified Survey or required as a condition of approval of this Certified Survey be and are hereby accepted by the City of Madison.
