I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments.  "Statement of Interests" forms are on file for those appointees required to file.
 
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT COMMISSION
 
DANIEL A. O'CALLAGHAN, 123 N. Blount St. #504, 53703-4602 (2nd A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Citizen.  Mr. O'Callaghan is an attorney with Michael Best & Friedrich LLP.  He formerly worked for the Milwaukee Department of City Development.  He succeeds Carl Silverman who resigned.  
TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2009.
 
 
EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION BOARD
 
DIANE B. ADAMS, 5706 Anchorage Ave., 53705-4402 (19th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Citizen Member.  Ms. Adams is retired from the Wisconsin Child Care Research Partnership, UW-Extension.  She has over 40 years in the child care and early education field.  She succeeds William Weeden who resigned.
TERM EXPIRES: 4-30-2010.
 
 
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
 
FREDERICK E. ZIMMERMANN, 2142 Rowley Ave., 53726-3944 (10th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of First Alternate Member.  Mr. Zimmermann is a retired architect.  He succeeds Colin Godding whose term expired.
TERM EXPIRES: 4-19-2011.
