The proposed resolution authorizes the award of Public Works Contract No. 7927, 2017 Park Playground Improvements - Group 3. The total estimated cost of the project is $255,600. Funding of $28,978 is available in the Parks Division 2016 Playground/Accessibility Improvements Capital Project (Munis 17421) and funding of $226,622 is available in the 2017 Playground/Accessibility Improvements Capital Project (Munis 17436).

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
