DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance changes the polling location for Ward 40 from Lowell Hall to Memorial Library, 728 State Street for the November 2006 elections.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
 
Subsection (40) entitled "Ward 40" of Section 15.02 entitled "Wards and Ward Boundaries" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by amending therein the following:
 
"Polling place at Lowell Hall, 610 Langdon Street.  For the April 2006 November 2006 election the polling place will be at Memorial Library, 728 State St.  This is a temporary move due to construction conflicts; the polling place will revert back to Lowell Hall, 610 Langdon Street, for the November, 2006 February 2007 election and all future elections."
