Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an agreement with Monroe Neighbors, LLC for maintenance of portions of the public right-of-way adjacent to 1802 Monroe Street. (10th AD)

Preamble
The owner of Monroe Commons has requested that the City of Madison allow the installation of non-standard sidewalk and landscaping within the pubic right of way adjacent to 1802 Monroe Street. These improvements will result in higher maintenance than is typical for right of way adjacent to a private property. The owner is willing to maintain the non-standard sidewalk and landscaping and maintenance by the owner will relieve the City of any additional burden associated with these special features. The non-standard sidewalk and landscaping will be owned by the City of Madison and maintained by the property owner. The non-standard sidewalk and landscaping will benefit the City of Madison by improving the aesthetics of the right of way.
Now Therefore be it resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Monroe Neighbors, LLC for maintenance of portions of the public right of way adjacent to 1802 Monroe Street.
