The proposed resolution approves plans and specifications and authorizes 680 Canyons LLC to undertake construction for the project known as 686 Grand Canyon Drive and rescinds the previous resolution. The developer previously received approval for the project via RES-24-00042 on January 26, 2024 (Legistar #81406). The plans are updated due to the developer and the City Storm Utility agreeing to revise the location for the installation of the public storm sewer from W Platte Drive to Grand Canyon Drive due to potential constructability issues. The total estimated City cost of the project is not to exceed $25,000 and is unchanged from RES-24-00042. Funding is available in Munis #14142. No additional appropriation is required.

Body
WHEREAS, the developer, 680 Canyons LLC, has received the City of Madison's conditional approval for a demolition permit to raze a multitenant commercial building and a conditional use to construct a four-story mixed-use building at 680 Grand Canyon Drive, and,

WHEREAS, Section 16.23(9) of the Madison General Ordinances and the conditions of approval require the developer to install the public improvements necessary to serve the rezoning, and,

WHEREAS, the developer received approval for the project on January 26, 2024 by Resolution RES-24-00042, File No. 81406; and,

WHEREAS, the developer and the City Storm Utility have agreed to revise the location for the installation of the public storm sewer from W Platte Drive to Grand Canyon Drive due to potential constructability issues.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
