Board of Health for Madison and Dane County Resolution #2022-26 Authorization of Line Item Budget Transfers

This resolution includes a series of transfers within PHMDC to reflect projected spending levels for the current fiscal year; all proposed transfers are net neutral. Under the terms of the merger agreement, the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County may authorize PHMDC to move funds within appropriations during a fiscal year (IGA, VIII, G).
Transfers
· Communicable Disease Grant: Transfer $155 from Conferences & Trainings to Program Supplies and transfer $1,164.41 from Fringe to Program Supplies to align budget with expenditure actuals.
· Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Public Health Workforce Development Cooperative agreement: Transfer $28,800 from Salaries and Benefits to Software to support access to Lattice, an employee engagement and performance evaluation platform.
· WI Well Woman Grant: Transfer $46.48 from Program Supplies to Cellular telephone to support program operations.
· WIC: Transfer $1,823.43 from Medical Supplies to Consulting Services to hire a data consultant to help develop a new WIC database, and transfer $10,176.57 from Medical Supplies to personnel costs to support additional Spanish/English Bilingual Clinic Aide capacity.
· Ryan C White Grant: Transfer a total of $4,685.91 from Salaries to the following in the specified amounts for the purpose of aligning budget with expenditure actuals: $1,186.20 to Fringe Benefits; $245.64 to Cellular Telephone; $297.87 to Office Supplies; $793.56 to Medical Supplies; $2,102.64 to Program Supplies; and $60.00 to Computer Supplies.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County, authorizes the transfer of the amounts as outlined within the department.
