I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following committee appointments for introduction and adoption under suspension of the rules.

 

 

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION COMMISSION

 

ERICA L. JANISCH (20th A.D.) - appoint to a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Ms. Janisch recently ran for public office, vying for the district 20 alder seat on the City’s Common Council. She served two terms with the AmeriCorps VISTA program and worked for three years with the Department of Veteran Affairs. She currently serves on the Madison Metropolitan School District Parent Advisory Committee and is vice-president of the Falk Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Ms. Janisch succeeds Brittany G. Cudaback.

TERM EXPIRES: 4-19-2022

 

MICHELLE L. MCKOY (17th A.D.) - appoint to a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Ms. McKoy is a program specialist with the Wisconsin Housing & Economic Development Authority (WHEDA). She is a recent graduate of the United Way’s Boardwalk Academy.

TERM EXPIRES: 4-19-2022

 

AWAIS M. KHALEEL (6th A.D.) - appoint to a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Mr. Khaleel is an assistant district attorney with the Dane County District Attorney’s Office. He is an active organizer/volunteer in the Muslim community and is active in local and state politics. Mr. Khaleel succeeds Dianne Mosley.

TERM EXPIRES: 4-19-2022
