PREAMBLE
The City of Madison is proposing to under ground the overhead utility lines on N. Frances Street from University Avenue to State Street. MG&E, and Charter Communications will under ground their overhead lines and the existing poles will be removed. The City of Madison will fund the cost to under ground the facilities with the street right-of-way.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute agreements with MG&E and Charter Communications for the under grounding of overhead utilities on N. Frances Street.
