Routine maintenance will be required and will be incorporated with the maintenance of other City owned works of art. No additional expenditure required.

Accepting ownership of the artwork "Under Flow" located at the Water Utility Administration Building, 119 East Olin Avenue.
Body
WHEREAS the Madison Arts Commission mission is to make the arts an essential part of the lives of all of Madison's citizens; and
WHEREAS the Common Council adopted Resolution 61916, ID 36584 on September 21, 2004 adopting the design and implementation of a Public Art work, not to exceed $25,000.00 for the exterior of the Madison Water Utility Administration Building; and
WHEREAS one of the conditions of the contract requires that upon completion of the sculpture and other documentation being submitted by the artist, that the City of Madison will accept ownership of the sculpture; and
WHEREAS the sculpture has been completed and the required documentation has been filed with the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Madison hereby accepts ownership of the Madison "Under Flow" Sculpture.
