Approving a "Major" Change to Amend the Environmental Corridor within the Central Urban Service Area of Dane County for 10-14 Bellingrath Court. 16th Ald. Dist.
Body
WHEREAS 10-14 Bellingrath Court resides within the Central Urban Service Area and includes a wetland buffer on portions of two platted lots in the Secret Places at Siggelkow Preserve subdivision, and;
 
WHEREAS present setback policy requires a buffer of 75 feet from paved surface or building, to the edge of the wetland and this buffer assumes sheet flow from the pavement, and;
 
WHEREAS in the past, lesser buffers have been approved as changes to the Environmental Corridor when done in conjunction with a storm water management plan that protects the wetlands in an equal or similar manner, and;
 
WHEREAS the lot owner requests a buffer of 30-feet to be shown on a Certified Survey Map of the same in conjunction with a storm water management plan as approved by the City Engineer,
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Common Council hereby approve a "Major" change to amend the Environmental Corridor within the Central Urban Service Area of Dane County for the property of 10-14 Bellingrath Court.
