Board of Health-Madison & Dane County Resolution #2020-25 Authorization of Bidget Transfer of Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant Funds

Public Health-Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) was previously awarded the Preventive Health and Health Services (PHHS) Block Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on behalf of the Division of Public Health to support the Community Health Assessment process. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the timeline allotted for the spending of the grant funding it is being proposed to move a portion of the grant funding from purchased services to supplies, which have been used to purchase supplies needed for our COVID-19 response.
The transfer of funding within the PHHS grant will address the following grant objectives:
• Emergency Response in accordance with the PHAB domain of Administration and Management
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County, authorizes the transfer of the amounts of the Preventive Health and Health Services Grant as outlined below, for the purpose of community engagement activities and survey collection.
