Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution determines a public purpose and necessity and adopts a relocation order for the acquisition of land interests required for the construction, maintenance, and use of a public easement for sanitary sewer, water utility, and storm sewer south of Macarthur Road. Estimated real estate acquisitions costs are $65,000. Funding is available in the 2026 Adopted Engineering - Major Streets Capital Budget (Munis #15120). No additional appropriation is required.

WHEREAS, the City of Madison Engineering Division established Engineering Project No. 15120 - for Public Improvements for the Macarthur Road, Macarthur Court, Larson Court, And Sycamore Avenue Assessment District, for the design and reconstruction of a public sanitary sewer, storm sewer watermain and street improvements; and
WHEREAS, during the design for the reconstruction of the public improvements , it has been confirmed by City Engineering that City of Madison will require a Public Easement for Sanitary Sewer, Water Utility, & Storm Sewer south of Macarthur Road and associated Temporary Limited easements for reconstruction of the public road; and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of public land interests are required for the construction, maintenance and use of a the public Sanitary Sewer, Water Utility, & Storm Sewer south of Macarthur Road and incidental grading for the public road to be reconstructed with the public improvements for the Macarthur Road project; and,
